The present invention relates to a differential backup method for information changed from an original file, and an original file-based differential backup module. The present invention includes: a first process of generating a master bitmap by XOR bit operation between an original file and a changed file by a differential backup module (12); a second process of generating a slave bitmap; a three process of changing the generated master bitmap and the generated slave bitmap in a two-dimensional arrangement; and a four process of storing a master image file and a slave image file in a storing unit (13). The present invention improves user convenience to allow a user to see a differential backup file in an image viewer program.
