The present invention provides a method and a system for displaying an image based on body tracking, in which a specific part of a body of the user is tracked by analyzing an image of a user motion acquired by a camera, so that the image displayed on a screen can be changed corresponding to the motion of the user, thereby realizing a man-machine interface in a specific space for a screen golf. A system for displaying an image based on body tracking according to one embodiment of the present invention includes: a camera installed above the head of the user to photograph a body image including at least a portion of the human body of the user; a space information extracting unit to specify at least a portion of the human body of the user based on the image of the human body and to extract location information of a specific boy region; a space variation determining unit to determine the spatial variation of the user based on the location information of the extracted body region; and an image rendering unit to perform a rendering operation based on the spatial variation of the user.
