The Present invention discloses a method for diagnosing a condition of a cutting machine which can diagnose a processed state in real time through an energy value consumed for cutting so as to construct a system which is relatively inexpensive and has high reliability. The method for diagnosing the condition of the cutting machine according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the steps of: measuring a first wattage supplied to the cutting machine before working and a second wattage at the time of working from a first power measuring unit and a second power measuring unit and transferring measured results to a calculating unit; comparing the first and second wattages in the calculating unit and deducing a cutting energy value which is required only for pure processing; comparing the cutting energy value with a reference value data stored in the calculating unit and to determine an abnormal state of the cutting machine; and determining that the cutting machine gets out of order when the cutting energy value is larger than a reference value, and transferring a state processing signal.
