[Classes 87 (i) and 107.] A hard tennis court, paving, or the like, comprises a series of perforated tiles or slabs 5 resting on the tops of a series of parallel ribs 4 which are formed integral with, and upstanding from, a cast-insitu concrete foundation 3. Each rib 4 has a flat top and is adapted to support a pair of adjacent tiles. The channels 6 between the ribs 4 may slope downwardly from the centre towards each end to serve as drainage channels. The perforations 7 in the tiles 5 may be tapered as shown in the Figure. |
