<p>The present invention relates to a block for a scarfing apparatus capable of primarily blocking a removed defective material from flowing into an outlet as a cover protrusion is protruding and formed in the upper part of the outlet of the block for a scarfing apparatus to discharge flame and high pressure oxygen from the outlet in order to remove the defective material formed on a slab surface, and secondarily blocking a removed defective material from flowing into the outlet due to compressed air as an air curtain nozzle to inject the compressed air is equipped in the rear of the cover protrusion. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the block for a scarfing apparatus is capable of discharging flame and high pressure oxygen in order to remove a defective material formed on a slab surface. In the block for a scarfing apparatus, the cover protrusion protruding and extended toward the front in the upper part of the outlet is equipped in order to block the defective material removed from the slab surface from flowing into the outlet.
