1. A system, comprising:
a telecommunications chassis, the telecommunications chassis comprising:
an array of multiple mezzanine card interfaces to couple to carrier card interfaces of mezzanine cards, the mezzanine card interfaces accessible from a face of the chassis, the mezzanine card interfaces to provide defined carrier card signals to the mezzanine cards when coupled, the mezzanine card interfaces arranged in parallel along a first axis along the face of the chassis, wherein each of the mezzanine card interfaces is coextensive along a second axis along the face of the chassis perpendicular to the first axis, wherein each of the multiple mezzanine card interfaces is controlled and managed by a same carrier module; andthe carrier module coupled to the array of multiple mezzanine card interfaces, the carrier module to control provision of power to the mezzanine card interfaces, provide an Intelligent Platform Management Bus IPMB-0, and control detection of coupling for each of the multiple mezzanine card interfaces; wherein the mezzanine card interfaces are physically presented as chassis backplane interfaces, not mezzanine card interfaces of a removable carrier card. |
