setting, at an alert notification monitor, a plurality of controls selected from the group consisting of a patient control, a clinician control and a rate control; receiving, at the alert notification monitor, a plurality of notifications from at least one medical device; analyzing, at the alert notification monitor, the plurality of notifications based on one or more complex triggers to identify at least one triggered notification, the complex triggers incorporating at least one of the plurality of set controls and at least one of the plurality of notifications; transmitting the at least one triggered notification; and displaying on a display the transmitted triggered notification to a user via a web browser.
