PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system diagnosing a failure by communication between an on-vehicle communication device and an information center, capable of notifying effective information to a user even if a failure of communication connection between the on-vehicle communication device and the information center occurs.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle communication device 3 receives advice information including types of abnormalities likely to occur to a vehicle 2 and handling methods therefor by communication with an information center 5, and stores the received advice information in a memory management unit 11. A CPU 6 transmits abnormality information to the information center 5 and receives a failure diagnosis result from the information center 5 if an operation abnormality occurs to any of on-vehicle devices. At that time, if a failure of communication connection with the information center 5 is determined as the operation abnormality, the advice information corresponding to the type of the occurring abnormality is read from the memory management unit 11 and notified to a user. |
