PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device having long term reliability in which product reliability can be enhanced furthermore by using high heat-resistant members, while ensuring high light extraction efficiency and excellent heat dissipation, and light-emitting properties are maintained excellently.SOLUTION: A light-emitting device 1 includes a glass ceramic substrate 2 obtained by calcining a glass ceramic composition, and having a first sealing region on the surface, a light-emitting diode (UV-LED) 3 emitting ultraviolet light mounted on the same side of the glass ceramic substrate 2 as the first sealing region, a cover glass 4 has a second sealing region corresponding to the first sealing region on the surface, and arranged so that the first sealing region and second sealing region face each other, and a sealing layer 5 sealing the UK-LED by bonding the first sealing region and second sealing region with a sealing material containing sealing glass and an electromagnetic wave absorption material. |
