PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar apparatus for measuring the performance of the radar apparatus while minimizing influences on a radar image.SOLUTION: A radar apparatus comprises: a transmitting section; a receiving section; a radar image generating section; and a performance monitor. The transmitting section transmits a radar signal through a radar antenna. The receiving section receives a reflection wave of the radar signal through the radar antenna. The radar image generating section generates a radar image on the basis of the reflection wave received by the receiving section. The performance monitor measures at least one performance of the transmitting section and the receiving section. A PM control section causes the performance monitor to perform measurement while temporarily interrupting the transmission of the radar signal. |
