PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device and a vehicular lighting device capable of suppressing deterioration of light extraction efficiency from a light guide by fixing a light guide to a lid part.SOLUTION: A lighting device 1-1 has: a light emitting part 2; a holding part 3; a light guide 4; and a lid part 5. The light emitting part 2 has one or more of light emitting elements 21. The holding part 3 holds the light emitting part 2. The light guide 4 guides light made incident from the light emitting part 2, and emits from a tip part 4a on the opposite side of the light emitting part 2 side. The lid part 5 has an opening 51 in which the light guide 4 is inserted with the tip part 4a being exposed, and accommodates a part of the light guide 4 and the light emitting part 2 in space S formed between itself and the holding part 3. Also, the light guide 4 has a fixing part 41 fixed to the lid part 5 while being inserted into the opening part 51, and an outer diameter D2 on the tip part 4a side from the fixing part 41 is larger than an outer diameter D1 further on the light emitting part 2 side than the fixing part 41.
