<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique by which options for useable battery packs can be expanded and possibilities that discharge from the battery packs is allowed can be increased and improve convenience for a user who possesses various batteries.SOLUTION: In the motor-driven appliance 1, even when a rated output voltage value of at least either one of two battery packs 11a and 11b is not equal to an adaptive voltage value (negative determination at S140), if a DC voltage value obtained by totalling respective outputted voltage values of the battery packs 11a and 11b is equal to an operation allowed voltage V1 or more (positive determination at S160), the two battery packs 11a and 11b are allowed to discharge (S170). This allows the motor-driven appliance 1 to expand options for useable battery packs and allows possibilities that discharge from the battery packs is allowed to increase, thereby improving convenience for a user who possesses various batteries.</p> |
