According to the present invention, provided is a lithium secondary battery characterized by including: a cathode, which includes lithium iron phosphate as a cathode active material and a layered complex oxide of lithium, nickel, manganese, and cobalt; and an anode including an anode active material, wherein a potential difference between the anode active material and the lithium iron phosphate is 3.10 V or higher at a 50% state of charge (SOC) point of the whole of lithium iron phosphate.
