PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf swing classification method capable of optimizing a selection of a golf club.SOLUTION: A swing classification method for classifying a golf swing when a player strokes a golf ball with a golf club includes the steps of: acquiring an acceleration speed at least at one point of the golf club during a golf swing or at least one point following the one point; and mapping behavior of the golf club on the basis of a time from a time point when an absolute value of the acceleration becomes a maximum value to a time point when the golf club strokes the golf ball.
