PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dog clutch control device for an automatic transmission capable of enabling a quick gear change operation in a case of moving a sleeve in gear change to be engaged with a dog clutch.SOLUTION: A control device 10 has a calculating portion 10b for calculating a moving speed of a sleeve 36 on the basis of a detected position at a prescribed time of a stroke position sensor 38 detecting a moving position of the sleeve, and controls an operation of an axial moving device 40 on the basis of the detected position of the stroke position sensor and the moving speed of the sleeve. The control device adds a stop thrust load F4 to stop advancing of a high tooth before the high tooth 36a1 of the sleeve is brought into contact with an end face 30b6 of a clutch rear tooth 30b of a clutch ring 30, after the high tooth passes through a chamfered portion 30b3 of a clutch front tooth of the clutch ring.
