PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that difference from shift between jobs or shift between the numbers of copies cannot be recognized even when using shift function.SOLUTION: In the image formation device, by which a sheet with an image formed thereon can be displaced at the same sheet discharge place to be discharged, and the control method for the same, a plurality of pieces of position information for displacing a sheet discharge position of the sheet at the sheet discharge place is stored, and when the sheet discharge position of the sheet between jobs for performing image formation and for every part of the sheet with the image formed by the job thereon is displaced, the plurality of pieces of position information is managed by dividing the information into a plurality of groups. The device, when performing a first job, selects one of the plurality of groups and displaces the sheet with the image formed thereon according to the plurality of position information included in the selected groups for every section of the first job to discharge the sheet, and then when performing a subsequent second job, selects the other groups of the plurality of groups and displaces the sheet with the image formed thereon according to the plurality of pieces of position information included in the selected other groups for every section of the second job to discharge the sheet. |
