PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system, a program, and a method capable of embedding a large amount of information in a print medium without limiting the print area of the print medium, extracting information from the print medium, and restoring application data generated at the time of printing.SOLUTION: An information processing system of the present invention comprises one or more information processors and image forming apparatuses. The information processor codes processing object data, generates embedded data including the coded processing object data and identification information for identifying the program of a creation source which has created the processing object data, and generates print data by synthesizing the embedded data and the processing object data. The image forming apparatus extracts embedded data from a print medium, extracts coded data from the embedded data, decodes the coded data according to the program of a creation source specified on the basis of the embedded data, and generates processing object data. |
