<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten user standby time and reduce power consumption in an image forming apparatus performing an image forming output.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus generates display information for a print preview screen on the basis of print data received along with a display request and extracts print preparation information from the received print data and stores the same, upon receiving the display request for the print preview screen from a mobile terminal. After generating the display information and making a response, upon receiving a print job generated based on the print data from the mobile terminal, the image forming apparatus generates drawing information based on the print job and simultaneously starts a print preparation on the basis of the print preparation information that has been stored when generating the display information. Upon completion of the print preparation, the image forming apparatus executes a print output on the basis of the generated drawing information.</p> |
