Wheeled shaft for a toddlers sled is attachable at its lower end to the sled by cylindrical or spherical joint at rear end of the sled so that the shaft is pivotable at least around the axis that is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the sled towards rear wall of the sled as well as outwards rear wall of the sled. At least one wheel is fixed to shaft, wherein the axis of the wheel is higher from the joint fixed to the shaft. Location of the axis of the wheel and diameter of the wheel are chosen so that by pushing the shaft against the sled the wheel will not touch the ground, whereas by turning the shaft outwards from the sled the wheel will move to the ground and thus raise the rear end of the sled from the ground. This way it is easy to use the sled on slippery (snowy, icy) as well as on non-slippery grounds both indoors and outdoors. |
