PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forecasting system which predicts service life of a cable until the cable breaks because of fatigue fracture due to repetitive motion with sufficient timewise margin.SOLUTION: The forecasting system comprises: an acquisition part for acquiring an electric resistance values of a cable which is fixed to a pair of link members capable of relatively rotating via a joint by fixing tools; an execution part; and a forecast part. The execution part makes the joint execute predetermined motion, and the forecast part predicts service life of the cable based on change of the electric resistance value acquired by the acquisition part in a period in which the joint executes the predetermined motion by the execution part. |
