PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic motor capable of reducing wear of a slide part.SOLUTION: The ultrasonic motor comprises: an ultrasonic oscillator having first and second piezoelectric element electrodes for respectively oscillating any one of vertical oscillation and bending oscillation contained in ultrasonic elliptical oscillation; a first frequency signal generation part for generating a first frequency signal containing a first frequency matched with a mechanical resonance frequency of the ultrasonic oscillator and a second frequency having a value of three or more, odd-number times larger than that of the frequency; a second frequency signal generation part for generating a second frequency signal containing a third frequency matched with the mechanical resonance frequency of the ultrasonic oscillator; and a first mechanical resonance circuit formation part connected to the first piezoelectric element electrode, and having a first inductance forming a first electric resonance circuit having a resonance frequency matched with the second frequency between it and the first piezoelectric element electrode. |
