PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a target to be detected with high accuracy in a short time, even in an environment where an SNR is low.SOLUTION: A radar device according to the present invention comprises: a target candidate detection unit 12 for detecting a spectral peak as a target candidate signal from among the spectra of a frequency domain calculated by a frequency domain conversion unit 11; and a feature amount calculation unit 13 for calculating, as a feature amount of the target candidate signal detected by the target candidate detection unit 12, a higher-order moment indicating the shape of the spectral peak, with a target determination unit 14 determining that the target candidate signal is a signal pertaining to the target, if the higher-order moment calculated by the feature amount calculation unit 13 is less than or equal to a threshold, or that the target candidate signal is a signal pertaining to noise, if the higher-order moment is higher than the threshold. |
