PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: when a user wants to rotate the whole of the tubing of a high frequency treatment instrument, the operator needs to release the handle once and again grip the handle after rotating it, so that continuous operation of the instrument is prevented.SOLUTION: A high frequency treatment instrument comprises: a flexible tube to be inserted into a body cavity; an operation wire freely retractably inserted into the flexible tube; a treating part which is disposed at a distal end side of the operation wire and treats a tissue of a living body by application of a high frequency current; a main body part for fixing a distal end side of the flexible tube; a slider fixing part for fixing a proximal end side of the operation wire led out of the proximal end of the flexible tube and for axially sliding the operation wire with respect to the main body part; and a slider grip part which is provided so as to enclose at least a part of an external peripheral surface of the slider fixing part and which allows the slider fixing part to be slid manually by an operator. The slider fixing part is unrotatably fixed to the main part body and the slider grip part is rotatably connected to the slider fixing part. |
