<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus enabled to image-process image data of the same medium read by plural cameras by transferring to the same image process part, in processing the image data of a transported medium detected by plural cameras disposed along a transport path.SOLUTION: When an initially transported medium 2a passes through a reading position 10a of a camera 10, image data of a surface of the medium 2a is transmitted to a transfer circuit part 101. The transfer circuit part 101 is provided with three counters corresponding to the number of cameras. Counter values of the counters represent the respective orders of image data of the medium picked up by the individual applicable cameras. For instance, in the case of cameras 10-30 picking up an initial medium 2a, the counter 1-3 indicate a count value of '1', and in the case of picking up the next medium 2b, the counter 1-3 indicate a count value of '2'. A transfer destination determination part determines an image process part as a transfer destination of the image data of the medium 2a, the image process part having sent a transfer permission signal to a count value 1, and the image data is image-processed by the aforementioned image process part.</p> |
