<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer flocculant capable of forming firm floc while maintaining solubility in water.SOLUTION: A polymer flocculant contains a water-soluble copolymer (A) obtained by reversed phase suspension polymerization of polymerizable monomers including a water-soluble monovalent unsaturated monomer and a polyvalent unsaturated monomer (b) represented by the following general formula (1): (CH=CRCOO)-Z (1) (in the formula (1), Ris H or a methyl group; n is an integer of 2-8; and Z is a (poly) ether group having an n valent 4-100C oxyethylene unit).
