PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide effective means of suppressing formation of hexavalent chromium in a trivalent chromium plating bath.SOLUTION: A method of regenerating an anode for trivalent chromium plating which consists of an insoluble electrode formed by covering a conductive electrode base body with a coating containing a metal oxide comprises carrying out an electrolysis treatment, with an anode having been used in trivalent chromium plating as the cathode, in a regeneration treatment solution consisting of an acidic aqueous solution of a pH of 3 or smaller containing an inorganic acid and/or an organic acid. |
