PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an optimized image quality during an examination by technically simple means in a small required space in a method for operating a mobile magnetic resonance tomography system (1).SOLUTION: In the method for operating the mobile magnetic resonance tomography system (1) having magnets (8) and/or coils generating a magnetic field and a shield (14) surrounding the magnets (8) and/or coils, a temperature is measured at a plurality of points on the shield (14) by a temperature measuring system (16), where measured data of the temperature measuring system (16) is sent to a compensation system (20), and where effects of temperature differences on the homogeneity of the magnetic field are compensated by the compensation system (20). |
