PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that, for example, in a conventional synthetic aperture radar, it is mounted on a craft or a satellite and performs observation while moving, thereby a signal equivalent to that obtained by a large array antenna can be obtained, and then an angle direction is resolved by high resolution, therefore the aperture radar has to be mounted on a platform of a craft or a satellite, so it is an expensive device, and the conventional synthetic aperture radar images a fixed target such as a ground surface, so that imaging of a moving target has a problem that imaging cannot be performed well.SOLUTION: A control unit 4 controls to switch transmission and reception of a transmission and reception antenna part 2 arranged in an azimuth direction by a predetermined order, thereby, a signal equivalent to that obtained by the conventional synthetic aperture radar can be obtained without moving the synthetic aperture radar in the azimuth direction. |
