<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power storage device with a gas vent valve having excellent power storage characteristics and capable of achieving the high life, without inhibiting gas permeation function by staying the moisture of electrolyte, or the liked, in the gas vent valve, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: In a power storage device having a power storage element 2, an outer case 3 for housing the power storage element 2, and a sealing plate 4 for sealing the opening 3a of the outer case 3, a gas permeable gas vent valve 10 is provided in a through hole 4c penetrating the sealing plate 4, the gas vent valve 10 is a bottomed cylindrical valve constituted of a cylindrical sidewall, a bottom and an opening, the bottom of the gas vent valve 10 is arranged on the power storage element 2 side and, on the inside of the sidewall of the gas vent valve 10, an internal support 15 for pressing the sidewall against the inner peripheral surface of the through hole 4c and fixing in place is provided.</p> |
