PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a target detection method and a target detection device.SOLUTION: A target detection method includes acquiring an initial parallax image and gray scale image in the current scene, performing cluster processing on a target on the basis of the initial parallax image in order to detect a target candidate object in the parallax image in an early stage, determining a region of interest (ROI) on the basis of the initial parallax image, gray scale image, and target candidate object, extracting the characteristics of the line of the determined ROI, performing integration processing and division processing on the determined ROI on the basis of the extracted characteristics of the line, and acquiring a new target object.
