<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus, information processing method, and program capable of displaying the content effective to a user.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus according to the present invention includes a first storage unit, selection unit, and first display unit. The first storage unit stores first correspondence information in which the content indicating information to be notified to a user is associated with a plurality of types of state information each indicating the state of the information processing apparatus. The selection unit refers to the first correspondence information to select the content corresponding to the current state of the information processing apparatus.
