<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas compressor which can prevent reverse rotation of a rotor when drive of a compression mechanism part is stopped, without use of a check valve, and which can eliminate a pressure loss.SOLUTION: A gas compressor includes a communication passage which is provided in a rotary drive shaft and which communicates high-pressure and low-pressure spaces with each other, and an on-off valve which is arranged between the communication passage and the low-pressure space and which brings the inside of a housing into a pressure equalization state by bringing a section between the low-pressure space and the communication passage into a closed state when a compression mechanism part is driven and bringing the section between the low-pressure space and the communication passage into an opened state when the drive of the compression mechanism part is stopped.</p> |
