PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video display method which allows for confirmation of other region, while displaying the area of interest easy to see.SOLUTION: A video display method for displaying a video on a screen by a video display device, when the aspect ratio of the screen of a display device is different from the aspect ratio of a video, includes a step of acquiring a video to be displayed in the display device, a step of setting a main plane and a main axis for the video, a step of converting a video into the video captured from the center of a main information surface, if the video is not captured from the center of a main information surface on a normal at the center point of a main plane, a step of giving the depth information to the video generated, a step of setting an area of interest becoming the object of interest in the video, and a step of displaying a video, obtained when projecting a video generated based on the depth information to a convex object, on the screen so that the area of interest becomes the center of the screen. |
