PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to reduce a power rate for a user, by appropriately operating a storage battery system according to a time zone-based power rate, suppressing occurrence of a peak of power demand, and leveling the power demand.SOLUTION: A user 3 transmits information showing power consumption of a load 11, information showing a time zone-based power rate, and the like to a service provider 2. The service provider 2 predicts power consumption in the future by using the information showing the power consumption of the load 11 received from the user 3; generates a charge/discharge control schedule for a storage battery 12 by using the predicted value, the information showing the time zone-based power rate, and the like; and transmits the generated schedule to the user 3. In the case that difference between a power rate in a time zone (X) having the highest power rate and that in a time zone (Y) having the lowest power rate is equal to or larger than a fixed value, the user 3 charges, on the basis of the charge/discharge control schedule, the storage battery 12 in a time zone except the time zone having the highest power rate with power corresponding to predicted power consumption in the time zone having the highest power rate; and supplies the load 11 with power discharged from the storage battery 12 in the time zone having the highest power rate. |
