HEAT-ADHESIVE COMPOSITE FIBER EXCELLENT IN FLEXIBILITY AND NONWOVEN FABRIC COMPRISING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-adhesive composite fiber capable of maintaining the form stability of a crimp even in a state of saving the elongation of a fiber and giving bulkiness and flexibility to a nonwoven fabric, and a nonwoven fabric comprising the same.SOLUTION: The heat-adhesive composite fiber is made of a first component including a polyester based resin and a second component including a poly-olefine based resin having a melting point lower by 15°C or more than that of the polyester based resin, and has the structure of a side by side type or an eccentric sheath-core type having the second component occupying 30% or more of a fiber outer periphery in a fiber cross section orthogonal to the length direction of the fiber. The elongation of the fiber is 50 to 120%. The three-dimensional actual crimp is 10 to 20 crimps/2.54 cm, and the crimp modulus of elasticity is 85 to 100%.
