PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement a blood pressure manometer capable of obtaining more accurate measurement results and at the same time increasing the reliability of blood pressure measurement.SOLUTION: A blood pressure manometer announces a guidance message saying "Please sit in a chair and apply the blood pressure manometer on your chest" (S1). When an acceleration sensor contained in the body part of the blood pressure manometer detects heartbeats, an inclination sensor detects the position data of the main part, and stores the position data in a storage unit (S2 to S3). The manometer then determines whether or not the inclination sensor indicates that the posture of the main body is vertical (S4). When the answer is Yes, the manometer announces a message for guiding the subject to separate the blood pressure manometer from the subject's chest (S5 to S6), and determines whether or not the inclination sensor indicates that the main part is at the same height as the heart position (S7). When the answer is No, the manometer announces a message for guiding the subject to make the manometer as high as the subject's heart (S8), and when the main body is made as high as the heart, the manometer executes blood measurement (S7 to S9). |
