PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently feed power by moving a power transmission coil to a position near a power receiving coil by means of a simple mechanism.SOLUTION: A power source base comprises: a rotary table 14 that can be rotated within a horizontal plane in an external case 20 and has a plurality of power transmission coils 11 fixed on the surface thereof; a rotary mechanism 13 that rotates this rotary table 14; and a control circuit 16 that controls this rotary mechanism 13 and moves the transmission coils 11 to a circular locus, thereby bringing it near a power receiving coil 51. The coil center K of each power transmission coil 11 is located in a position eccentric from the rotation center M of the rotary table 14. The power transmission coils 11 are moved by the rotation of the rotary table 14, and are arranged in positions different from one another in terms of the rotation radius (r) of the circular locus on which the respective coil centers K are moved. The power source table 10 controls the rotary mechanism 13 by means of a control circuit 16, thereby controlling the rotating position of the rotary table 14. The power source table 10 arranges one of the power transmission coils 11 in a position near to the power receiving coil 51 of a portable apparatus 50 and supplies power to the power receiving coil 51 from the power transmission coil 11. |
