PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance power saving efficiency in sleep control.SOLUTION: An access point device 1 for communicating with a terminal station through a radio channel while shifting between an active state and a sleep state includes: a buffer 12a for storing transmission schedule data; a frame transmission time calculation unit 14 for calculating a required transmission time required for transmitting the transmission schedule data; a tolerable delay time calculation unit 15 for calculating a tolerable delay time of the transmission schedule data on the basis of each data frame; and a power management unit 13 for shifting to the sleep state for a certain period if the required transmission time is within the range of the tolerable delay time for all data frames.
