PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism capable of appropriate data communication using a call control server while reducing the power consumption of a communication device.SOLUTION: A multi-function peripheral (MFP) 101 includes a main control unit 210 and a sub control unit 230, and performs data communication by means of a SIP server 103. The sub control unit 230 returns 100 Trying in response to received INVITE (S304), and instructs the main control unit 210 to start (S305). After starting in response to the instruction from the sub control unit 230, the main control unit 210 returns 180 Ringing following the 100 Trying (S308), and performs data communication by use of a session established between the MFP and an opposite device (S314). |
