The present invention relates to a method and an electronic device for providing a service based on various kinds of input. The method for controlling the electronic device to provide the service comprises: a step of receiving a voice signal of a user; a step of receiving second input of the user; a step of extracting data corresponding to the second input; a step of converting the voice signal into text data; a step of establishing a relation between the text data and the extracted data; and a step of generating a response to the voice signal based on the text data, the extracted data, and the established relation.
