PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a booster with an alleviated collision noise during the retreat of an input rod.SOLUTION: In this electric booster 1, an input rod 34 comprises a buffer mechanism 51 that decelerates a retreat speed of the input rod 34 before a contact part 34A of the input rod 34 comes into contact with a pair of detent parts 39 when the input rod 34 retreats to a non-braking position. In this structure, an impact when the contact part 34A of the input rod 34 comes into the pair of detent parts 39 can be relaxed by the actuation of the buffer mechanism 51 to enable a collision noise on the impact to be alleviated with the result that quality can be improved. |
