PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a focus adjustment device that enables a focus status of an optical system to be appropriately adjusted.SOLUTION: The focus adjustment device comprises: a lens information acquisition part 21 that acquires lens information including an amount of a drive backlash of a focus adjustment lens 33 from a lens barrel 3; a determination part 21 that determines a drive width of the focus adjustment lens 33 upon performing a wobbling drive as a wobbling drive width; and a drive control part 21 that causes the lens barrel 3 to execute the wobbling drive at the wobbling drive width by outputting an amount of a drive instruction corresponding to the wobbling drive width to the lens barrel. The determination part 21 determines the wobbling drive width on the basis of the amount of the drive backlash of the focus adjustment lens 33.
