PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a code estimation detection device which allows a user having low music skill to perform code estimation operation to a sound signal easily.SOLUTION: There is provided the code estimation detection device for estimating and detecting code which is performed by music performance in a sound signal. The code estimation detection device comprises: data music performance means for performing music performance of a specific range of the sound signal; base sound determination means 33 for determining a base sound; code constitution sound determination means 35 for determining a code constitution sound; code estimation means 37 for estimating a code on the basis of the selected base sound and the code constitution sound; and code selection means 39 for selecting a code from the estimated code.
