PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automotive resin component which can increase rigidity and can effectively suppress generation of a crack and extension of a generated crack.SOLUTION: An automotive resin component 1 includes a body part 2, and a flange part 3 which is formed by being bent from the body part 2. A metal plating layer 4 is formed on a design surface 101 of the body part 2 and the flange part 3. On a rear face 102 of the flange part 3 on a side opposite to the design surface 101, initial point notch grooves 31 as an initial point of a crack generated when an impact is applied are formed. The initial point notch grooves 31 are formed orthogonally to an extension direction L of the body part 2 and the flange part 3 at plural portions in said extension direction L.
