PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum porous body usable for an electrode material or the like for electrochemical devices, such as lithium ion batteries and capacitors, utilizing a nonaqueous electrolyte, small in a moisture absorption amount, and having a three-dimensional mesh structure.SOLUTION: An aluminum porous body of the present invention has a three-dimensional mesh structure with a hollow skeleton, and a moisture absorption amount of 30 mg/mor less. The aluminum porous body has preferably an aluminum purity of 99.7 mass% or more.
