<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To start an OS in a recovery mode without user's awareness even when failing to start the OS in a normal mode.SOLUTION: A BIOS selects by default a default boot path that is a start condition for starting an operating system in a normal mode, and on the other hand, when a predetermined condition is met, the BIOS selects a recovery boot path that is a start condition for starting the operating system in a recovery mode. The operating system in the recovery mode repairs the operating system so that the operating system can properly start in the normal mode.</p> |
