摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbocharger capable of preventing adhesion of deposit in a diffuser passage, and a method for controlling the same.SOLUTION: A turbocharger 1 includes an adhesion prevention section constituted so that gas is ejected into a diffuser passage on at least one of a diffuser surface or a confronting surface. The turbocharger 1 includes a required ejection pressure value storage section 66 for storing beforehand an ejection pressure value required for preventing adhesion of deposit, a pressure loss value storage section 65 for storing beforehand a pressure loss value P3 of the adhesion prevention section, and a supply pressure value detection section 62 for detecting a supply pressure value P2 of the gas supplied to the adhesion prevention section. The turbocharger 1 further includes a comparison section 67 for comparing an actual ejection pressure value which is obtained by subtracting the pressure loss value stored in the pressure loss value storage section from the supply pressure value detected by the supply pressure value detection section and the required ejection pressure value P4, and a supply pressure value control section 68 for controlling the supply pressure value of the gas based on the comparison result by the comparison section.</p>
