<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle door checker configured to reduce the number of components for a detent mechanism and to reduce the entire length of a check lever plate.SOLUTION: A case 1 includes a base plate part 1a fixed to a door D, and a pair of side plate parts 1b, 1b. A detent mechanism 11 includes a pair of plate members 12, 12 facing each other across a check lever plate 5. Each of the plate members 12 includes a detent plate part 13 having a projection 13a to be engaged with detent notches 10a, 10b of the check lever plate 5, and a pair of leaf spring parts 14 connected to both ends of the detent plate part 13. A pair of support holes 16 are formed in the side plate parts 1b, to support the leaf spring parts 14 and cause the leaf spring parts 14 to exhibit a resilient force for biasing the detent plate part 13 against the check lever plate 5. A full-open stopper 17 provided at a loose end of the check lever plate 5 is brought into contact with the base plate part 1a.</p> |
