METHOD FOR ACQUIRING COLOR DATA MEASURED FROM DISPLAY DEVICE

Disclosed is a method for collecting color data measured from a display device. A method for collecting data to measure a color expressed in the display device using a sensing device includes the steps of: (a) synchronizing driving of the display device with the operation of the sensing device; (b) acquiring a plurality of data related to colors expressed on the display device by actuating the sensing device; (c) arranging the data according to a first reference; and (d) selecting data serving as data for color measurement of the display device and selected from among a plurality of data according to a second reference. When the color of the image display device is measured using a tri-stimulus colorimeter, even if the oscillation shape and the period of a square wave of a black light unit (BLU) of the display device are changed, the deviation of the collected color measurement data can be minimized, so that colors can be exactly measured and XYZ values can be calculated.
