<p>The present invention relates to an airbag for a vehicle that includes a cover having an opening in which an airbag cushion is located, a mounting plate coupled to the cover and having a penetrated center in which an inflator is located, a plurality of hook portions formed on the portion of the cover toward the mounting plate, fastening portions fixedly formed on the mounting plate through the insertion of the hook portions, fracture portions formed unitarily with one end of each fastening portion through injection molding, and a coupling member molded unitarily with the fracture portions of each fastening portion. According to the present invention, the coupling member having the wedge structure is injected unitarily with the mounting plate, thus needing no separate part management to improve the conveniences in assembling, achieving the process complement using the existing equipment to obtain the simple process, preventing the fastening force of the coupled portion through the coupling members from being weak or disappear due to the vibrations of the vehicle to enhance the robustness upon the development of the airbag, removing a portion where no load is applied in the existing cover wall surface through the hook structure to reduce the weight of the airbag.</p> |
